Infrastructure
On-site infrastructure at Golden Grove is managed and maintained by on-site employees with contract companies suppling site services support and camp catering/domestic services.
Golden Grove is powered using a 132kv powerline fed from Three Springs towards the south, and has its own three megawatt diesel power back-up generator for essentials during outages.
Potable water is drawn from nearby water bores and then treated by way of reverse osmosis and stored for usage throughout the site and village.
The main access road into Golden Grove is sealed from Geraldton including the site village road. All other roads on-site are unsealed.
As Golden Grove is a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) mine site, the region surrounding the mine has a sealed airstrip with an enclosed terminal building that operates Monday to Friday.
The current camp capacity is around 600 rooms and a further 100 rooms are being planned as part of future development.
