The Sepon gold and copper operations are located in Laos. The Sepon copper operation in Laos produces approximately 65,000 tonnes of copper as cathodes annually. The Government of Laos holds a 10% interest in the Sepon project with MMG owning the other 90%.

MMG owns the Sepon gold and copper operations in south-central Laos. The Sepon Copper and gold plants and mining operations are located immediately adjacent to each other.
The Sepon project comprises a 1,250 square kilometres contarct area located approximately 40 kilometres north of the town of Sepon, in Savannakhet Province, south-central Laos.
The Sepon copper operation commenced production in 2005 and is the most modern and technically sophisticated plant of its kind in Asia.
