MMG Dugald River to contribute $250,000 to support North Queensland

MMG Limited (MMG) is pleased to announce a $250,000 contribution to flood relief and recovery for the Cloncurry, Townsville regions, following the severe weather events in North Queensland.

This contribution will be used to support the North Queensland flood recovery efforts and MMG employees who have been impacted in the floods.

“Our region is still dealing with the consequences of the extreme weather events of the past week and a half. Like the rest of Australia, we have watched the impact this has had on the people of North Queensland and we want to show our support” said Sam Rodda, General Manager Dugald River.

“Our thoughts are with all the families affected by these events. That is why MMG is committed to working in cooperation with the Townsville and Cloncurry City Councils and Queensland Government to make sure that these funds go to the most appropriate disaster relief organisations in our local community.”
