MMG Limited (Hong Kong Stock Code: 1208) (the Company) announced today that the change to its English company name from Minmetals Resources Limited to MMG Limited was completed on 6 September 2012.
The Company’s shareholders voted in favour of the name change on 27 August 2012.
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Mr Andrew Michelmore said, “The completion of the name change to MMG Limited is a significant milestone that aligns our registered name to our operating assets.”
The change of company name will not affect any of the rights of shareholders. The Company’s shares will be traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the new English stock short name “MMG” with effect from 17 September 2012. The Chinese name of the Company, the Chinese stock short name and stock code of the Company will remain unchanged.
The name change is effective from 6 September 2012 following the granting of the certificate of change of name to MMG Limited (五礦資源有限公司) by the registrar of Companies in Hong Kong.
